I'm married, with two children, aged 10 and 7. My son is "home grown". My daughter was adopted at the age of 4 in January, 2007, from DaNang, Vietnam. This is our story of attachment, sibling relationships, practicing law, and drinking lots of coffee. Janet Evanovich is an amazing writer and her Stephanie Plum series is hysterical. I mean laugh out loud while you are reading funny. The Plum series has 12 books and I've read them all. The first in the series is "One for the Money".
I love the Janet Evanovich books as well. and The Kellermans0 Faye and Jonoathan. and Kathryn Reichs. (see, I do read fiction sometimes!)
