New Pictures of Our Girl
We were pleasantly surprised to find new pictures and an update of Lana in our email box yesterday. (Evidently someone at our agency must have been working on a Saturday).

The report says that Lan understands that she is being adopted by an American family and that she recognizes her "American parents" in photographs. It also says that she wants to send gifts to her foster mother once she comes to the United States with her adoptive family. :-)

She's beautiful! And how caring and compassionate she must be to want to send gifts back to her foster mother. Too cute.
What a fun smile! I think its a good sign that Lan understands the distance factor and is already thinking of ways to be in touch with her foster family.

She is gorgeous! I am sure you are excited that you will being her home soon! I am praying you have a smooth transition with Lan and that she understands what is happening to her. What a wonderful disposition that she wants to send gifts to her foster family.
What a great picture. Just think, this is the LAST update the agency will ever have to send you on your daughter... soon YOU will be the one taking the pictures and telling everyone about the cute things she says and does!! She looks just so happy and adorable in this picture btw... I think she looks ready to meet her new family now!

We have a 2 year old from China and are in the process of going to Vietnam.
Oh my gosh, did she age 10 years?!?! She looks so grown up in that picture! It is so adorable. I think that is my favorite picture, so far!!
