Dear Minnesota,
I have nothing against you, per se, as a state. I have, in fact, enjoyed visiting you in the sweet sweet summertime when your lakes are beautiful and your climate is temperate and your moose are wandering free. I appeciate that you provided home and hearth for my Scandanavian grandparents, I do, truly.
But, I've gotta say...it's 1 degree here in Ohio. ONE. DEGREE. And despite my Viking genes, I AM COLD.
So, please refrain from sending us any more of your air.

It's been -35 below zero wind chill this weekend and now it's only -5 so it's really warming up! ;)
It does get old around Feb. every year-hopefully we won't see too much snow this March!
We'd much prefer to douse Texas with the cold air -- all this talk of beautiful weather and "went to the pool" can be quite trying for us Minnesotans this time of year.
I agree, send it back that way. The past few days I haven't even listened to weather reports...I just know it is COLD! Looking forward to those spring bulbs poking through the snow.
Gretchen, On behalf of all Minnesotans, I am sorry. Actually, I am originally a Californian, transplanted here 11 years ago, and I can't agree with you more.....it's way to darn cold around here and I hate for anyone else to have to suffer like this. The one thing I am missing about Vietnam is...where 65 is considered cold!!!

I live just 15 miles from the MN border and I've been blaming North Dakota. Maybe even Montana.
Um, I live in Minneapolis, and we are blaming Canada. I wonder who they blame?
yikes! I didn't realize it was that cold in Ohio. Sorry that you have to suffer so, it would seem that those of us in the U.P. are suffering more than enough for everyone in the "freezing cold" department!
