I am so excited for you!! Get ready for the adventure of a life time. It is crazy over here in Vietnam!!
Good luck and safe travels. Enjoy yourself, too! I'll be reading!
This is my first comment, but I just had to say good luck and that I can't wait to read your travel posts! How exciting! :)
I've been thinking of you all every few hours or so, wondering how your journey is going thus far. Can't leave comments on your other page without a blogger account, so I'll just be doing it here, if that's okay
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hi, I can't post on your other blog because I have to post as anonymous, but I wanted to tell you something cultural about the bath situation you find with Lana, and was trying to find a way to get in touch with you. We are in process to adopt a 3yo boy from Vietnam. We've lived in Asia, though a different part, for several years. Where we've been, either showers or what we call 'bucket baths' are the norm. The common thought is that it is dirty to sit in a tub of bathwater--after all, you are trying to get the dirt off, aren't you? If you are pouring water over you or are in a shower, the water washes you clean, but if you are sitting in it in a tub--YUCK!! (Of course, I still love a good soak in the tub, but thought you might want to understand the other side of it.) That may be Lana's viewpoint.
