Adventures in Vietnamese International Adoption and the Practice of Law in a medium size Midwestern City
My agency called me today and told me that our dossier has finished being translated and has been submitted to the Ministry of Justice for approval today, September 8, 2006. So, now we wait one to two weeks for THAT approval.

I'm married, with two children, aged 10 and 7. My son is "home grown". My daughter was adopted at the age of 4 in January, 2007, from DaNang, Vietnam. What great news! Hope it's closer to one week than to two :)
My best friend adopted a baby girl from Russia last year, and while it took longer than expected, and there was A LOT of red tape to go through, it all worked out, and we are so happy she is here. What a great experience for you and your family! Good luck to all of you!
Progress is progress and any news about progress is fantastic!
