Tonsils are Out

Gabriel had his tonsils and adenoids removed yesterday. He had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia and gave us a scare. My mother-in-law is with him today and he is not wanting to swallow anything. He needs to be eating popsicles or slushes all day and he has only eaten one so far.

I'm worried and not really doing so great.

Sorry I've been so quiet. My computer is still dead.

Can he use a straw? Sometimes that helps get fluids down. Also when I had a horrible throat issue and swelling years ago, I had to actually suck on soaked wash clothes to keep from getting dehydrated. I just could not drink from a cup. Hope he feels better by tomorrow!

poor Gabe! I remember that surgery, and how unappealing popsicles were to me afterwards. I do remember liking the push up kind of popsicles (in the plastic tube), have you tried those?
Sorry about your dead computer....have you found out yet if it is salvagable?

Poor Gabe! I remember having that surgery (I was around seven or eight, I think) and finding those popsicles completely unappealing. However, I do remember liking the push up ones (in the plastic tubes), have you tried those?
Prayers are with you and Gabe, hang in there!
