We really intended to buy a Prius...
But, when Husband's car found itself on it's last legs rather more quickly than we had anticipated, and we learned that the wait for a Prius in our area had extended to five months...we found ourselves driving away from the Toyota lot today in this:
And yes, it really is metallic gold.
But, people it was THERE and available TODAY. And it was FUNKY. And IRREVERENT. And it has LOTS OF INTERIOR SPACE. And the CLUTCH IS VERY EASY and DOESN'T STICK. And it gets decent gas mileage.
So, there it is. Our gold metallic limited edition Toyota Scion.
I'm pretty sure we will never lose it in a parking lot.

Btw, we were just in a Toyota lot the other day and their wait for a Prius was 6 months. Yikes.

I must say I wouldn't give up my Prius for anything (I got lucky and only waited 3 weeks) but that is one cool car! Did you get that rear window spoiler, too? Congratulations!
I Like it....No, you probably won't loose it in a parking lot and the kids should be able to see you coming, when you pick them up....my yellow Xterra could be seen from a mile away....
Love the color! Very funky! I miss the days of having a cool car. I used to have a turquoise Isuzu Amigo back when we first got married...remember them??, and most recently had a sporty silver and black mini cooper. So fun to drive that car!
We have a very limited vehicle options now. Currently, I drive a Yukon Denale XL and are still one over capacity when traveling all together. I refuse to give in to a "bus".
